The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Argentina fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Argentina's Benedicto Naelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute, Benedicto Naelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Roberto Layton made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Benedicto Naelio sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton got control of the ball when Benedicto Naelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Darrigrande in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Fiz during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ambrosio Fiz hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Naelio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Darrigrande came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Darrigrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argentina made a substitution. Abelardo Perutxo replaced Paolo-César Maldini. Carlo Darrigrande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lev Yashin came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlo Darrigrande slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 62nd minute. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ made a substitution. Eliézer Prata replaced Gora Dam. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 70th minute of play. Argentina's Pablo Escobar was substituted for Benedicto Naelio. Peter Swan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Eliézer Pratas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Lev Yashin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Argentina were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Urtsin took the corner. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Qi Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Argentina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johnathan Douglas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jordi Carces got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lev Yashin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eliézer Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Peter Swan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Argentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
