Oskar Nyström in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dušan Krnáč, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oskar Nyström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dušan Krnáč having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Holger Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Oskar Nyström put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dušan Krnáč. 21 minutes into the game, Oskar Nyström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dušan Krnáč was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Dušan Krnáč managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Malmö FF's Oskar Nyström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Krister Jonasson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Brekov's Dušan Krnáč. Dušan Krnáč was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute Ľubomír Kortiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Lindmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Brekov's Dušan Krnáč got control of the ball when Oskar Nyström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 minutes, Oskar Nyström made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brekov's Dušan Krnáč tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Krister Jonasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dušan Krnáč was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ľubomír Kolek to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Viktor Rangl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brekov and the Malmö FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oskar Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dušan Krnáč tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ľubomír Kortiš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Lindmark having to interfere. Krister Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dušan Krnáč didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö FF. 61 minutes into the game, Malmö FF's Oskar Nyström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dušan Krnáč made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Peter Valábik's late challenge caught a Malmö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Valábik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Brekov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Valábik to maneuver through the defense. In the 65thth minute of the game Oskar Nyström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brekov's Dušan Krnáč was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Rangl hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Oskar Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnny Ferm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Öman to maneuver through the defense. Dušan Krnáč didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Malmö FF's Krister Jonasson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Viktor Rangl kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Nyström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dušan Krnáč read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Oskar Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dušan Krnáč tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Malmö FF fully deserved thier win.
