The crowd rose to their feet as Hersh Forever's Duby Merkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Greger Lindmark. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Duby Merkin scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greger Lindmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malmö FF's Krister Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oskar Nyström to strike the kick off in the second half. Greger Lindmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duby Merkin in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Malmö FF booed when Hersh Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelach Wackert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greger Lindmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 93rd minute Adriel Mauser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Lindmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hersh Forever's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
