Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Brekov's Ľubomír Kolek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Brekov's Ľubomír Kolek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Papillion Cheek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Abraham Mejia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dušan Krnáč firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Rangl in the 12th minute of play forced Toronto FC's goalkeeper Papillion Cheek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papillion Cheek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ľubomír Kortiš went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Brekov's Dušan Krnáč proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Brekov from getting a goal against them. Brekov's Viktor Rangl got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Papillion Cheek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Kolek in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brekov's Peter Valábik got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Brekov's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Tovar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ľubomír Kortiš's late challenge caught a Toronto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ľubomír Kortiš helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Brekov got a freekick which was hit by Ľubomír Kortiš. After 42 minutes of play, Brekov's Ľubomír Kortiš made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Papillion Cheek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ľubomír Kolek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Papillion Cheek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papillion Cheek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Rangl, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Lenny Berger's late challenge caught a Brekov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Berger helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Toronto FC's Lenny Berger got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abraham Mejia made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Brekov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaromír Divos to maneuver through the defense. Papillion Cheek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Kolek in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Viktor Rangl took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Papillion Cheek to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Brekov's Viktor Rangl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Papillion Cheek. That made the score 0-8 after 62 minutes of play. Lenny Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Papillion Cheek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Rangl in the 70th minute of play. Papillion Cheek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Chovanec in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Mejia in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dušan Krnáč prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brekov's Dušan Krnáč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hervé Watson in the 80th minute of play. Ľubomír Kolek struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Papillion Cheek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brekov. After 89 played minutes, Brekov's Peter Takáč shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Papillion Cheek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brekov reached it. Abraham Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dušan Krnáč having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Toronto FC's Kyle Souplet got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brekov had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
