With his leg Fahhad Al Sohali managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Malmö FF's Oskar Nyström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Mody Team getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sadeq Al Ramzi hit a great ball. Fahhad Al Sohali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Nyström in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Mody Team's Fahhad Al Sohali got control of the ball when Krister Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Krister Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fahhad Al Sohali made a huge save. Mody Team's Shabeb Al Hindi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mody Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fahhad Al Hammady hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Oskar Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahhad Al Sohali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mody Team's Fahhad Al Sohali got control of the ball when Östen Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fahhad Al Sohali made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Krister Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shabeb Al Hindi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Adam Olofsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmö FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mody Team the free kick. After 54 minutes of play, Malmö FF's Krister Jonasson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fahhad Al Sohali was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Kent Öman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahhad Al Sohali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
