In the 46th minute, Ivó Carvoeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 54th minute, Dan Iovanovici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neide Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 57th match minute, East Kealsdf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Pereira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Steaua București's Ilie Scripcaru got control of the ball when Emílio Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neide Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Iovanovici in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, East Kealsdf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Savimbi to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Dan Iovanovici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Neide Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of East Kealsdf booed when FC Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Ciordaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua București's zone, Jorge Savimbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Scripcaru came out of the goal and Jorge Savimbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. East Kealsdf's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Steaua București had won, even though East Kealsdf had held more of the ball.
