A collision led to FC Steaua București getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emilian Răducan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua București's Mihăiţă Babarada got a free kick in the 29th minute. A hard shot by Yehoshua Brenner from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Ilie Scripcaru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriel Mauser in the 31st minute of play forced FC Steaua București's goalkeeper Ilie Scripcaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hersh Forever's Shelach Wackert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilie Scripcaru. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. If Adriel Mauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rea Tentser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Glodeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Codruț Răuțchi fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Steaua București's protests and gave Codruț Răuțchi a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes FC Steaua București got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Răuțchi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dan Iovanovici made the kick off in the second half. Mihăiţă Babarada kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Hersh Forever booed when FC Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Ciordaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hersh Forever's Elnathan Gisenborg got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th match minute, FC Steaua București was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Ciordaș to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes, Hersh Forever's Yehoshua Brenner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilie Scripcaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hersh Forever reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duby Merkin in the 68th minute of play forced FC Steaua București's goalkeeper Ilie Scripcaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Duby Merkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ilie Scripcaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxim Iacob hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Yehoshua Brenner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hersh Forever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yehoshua Brenner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, FC Steaua București's goal looked a bit too open when Adriel Mauser came free, but Ilie Scripcaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 90 minutes on the clock, Nicodim Nicopol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Hersh Forever. Yehoshua Brenner stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilie Scripcaru. 4-0. If Adriel Mauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie Scripcaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Wolfson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hersh Forever's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
