John Oktavianus hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cucu Sudaryono took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Goyo. Agustin Goyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ceppy Sulaiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur de Godoi in the 12th minute of play. Agustin Goyo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when John Oktavianus sent off a good shot on target. Cucu Sudaryono hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Kessinzudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Barral to maneuver through the defense. The Kessinzudo fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Kessinzudo's Leonides Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adrianus Husodo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Kessinzudo defense, Yanyan Sukmara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Goyo. The Kessinzudo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Goyo should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Kessinzudo's goalkeeper Agustin Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanyan Sukmara. 40 minutes into the match, Leonides Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceppy Sulaiman. PSPS RIAU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Kessinzudo's Artur de Godoi, in the 43rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kessinzudo. Leonides Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Adrianus Husodo made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanyan Sukmara, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur de Godoi in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceppy Sulaiman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Ramos didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 55th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Leonides Ramos ran dejectedly back to his position. Agustin Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cucu Sudaryono, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cucu Sudaryono took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Goyo. After a defensive mix-up in PSPS RIAU's zone, Artur de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceppy Sulaiman came out of the goal and Artur de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When José Maria Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kessinzudo's protests and gave José Maria Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. José Maria Dracena hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Agustin Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanyan Sukmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ceppy Sulaiman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute, Leonides Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kessinzudo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 72 minutes of play Kessinzudo's Gilberto Barral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cucu Sudaryono in the 76th minute of play forced Kessinzudo's goalkeeper Agustin Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kessinzudo booed when PSPS RIAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cucu Sudaryono didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cucu Sudaryono in the 83rd minute of play forced Kessinzudo's goalkeeper Agustin Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PSPS RIAU's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
