The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Lano got free with Ivan Chiuzbaian in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Venceslao in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 25th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes in the game Cyprien Combaz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hernan Lano. Ivan Chiuzbaian was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Adrián Espadas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrián Espadas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 33rd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Wennerqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Soroca F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were winning 1-2.

Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dan Wennerqvist was a little too slow when Zhao Sen Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-3. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attentive Dacian Tilea managed to snatch the ball when Romulo Thomas made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 74th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Wennerqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dacian Tilea made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zhao Sen Yang. 84 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Wennerqvist was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, Iordanis Karatzaferis threw the ball into play from the sideline.
