Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Su Jian Jie took the corner. Edinson Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Glogowski having to make a save. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinson Haaland in the 12th minute. Pankracy Glogowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edinson Haaland showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Roni Ronaldinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Edinson Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinson Haaland. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Haaland came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Remigio Erramu hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Goicoechea was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Hermengildo Erroman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Edinson Haaland struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinese CJ Youth Academy. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Haaland in the 55th minute of the match. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Edinson Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 64th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Edinson Haaland notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. In the 69th minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Edinson Haaland sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Günther Doty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Hermengildo Erroman made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benigno Abreu immediately put the ball in play. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günther Doty's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Long Xiang Yuan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hermengildo Erroman in the 90 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Günther Doty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Günther Doty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. Günther Doty might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Günther Doty ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
