In the 26th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta:s Pankracy Glogowski showed great skill when he stopped Turgut Soyuer:s penalty. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Glogowski having to make a save.
