Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Lunatics of Arianrhod got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Hibai ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Joel Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lunatics of Arianrhod fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hibai couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Martini came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Ferdinand who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ciro Ferdinand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi did a great save. Lunatics of Arianrhod were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Atlanta for a fine match.
