The supporters of Vanderslaike FC booed when Paragüil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Gagriel charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Gagriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gogo Gagriel hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanderslaike FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Fernendo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Paragüil FC's corner Luis Fernendo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anier Sayvion quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Oliveiro was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Artemio Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Sayvion was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Anier Sayvion came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Paragüil FC's Artemio Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Artemio Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gogo Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anier Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Vanderslaike FC got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Pereira. Anier Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Oliveiro in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Gagriel in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Sayvion saved Vanderslaike FC from getting behind. If Naldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Geovanni Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vanderslaike FC and the Paragüil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
