The corner went over the outstretched arms of Głodne Ghule's goalie and right to Leon Piekarczyk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Głodne Ghule's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 19th minute of play forced Głodne Ghule's goalkeeper Peter-Stefan Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Gdaniec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter-Stefan Schmeichel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 25th minute of play forced Głodne Ghule's goalkeeper Peter-Stefan Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Czech in the 26th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Grzegorz Gdaniec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Johannes Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After the first half Poland were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Grzegorz Gdaniec made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Głodne Ghule's 강 비 got a free kick in the 50th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Gdaniec came free, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Lech Pisarcik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Pisarcik hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Marek Czech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Głodne Ghule fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstanty Janiczek got free with Peter-Stefan Schmeichel in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Głodne Ghule getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wojciech Pasterski hit a great ball. Głodne Ghule's Hasan Hüseyin Afşar was substituted for Yu Zhen Guo. The supporters of Poland booed when Głodne Ghule was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Pasterski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Lech Pisarcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Janiczek came free, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Fridtjof Ferstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Konstanty Janiczek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Konstanty Janiczek struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poland. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Cipinski in the 91st minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Fridtjof Ferstad sped through Poland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. When the match was over Poland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Głodne Ghule throughout the match.
