Peter-Stefan Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Janiczek in the 14th minute of play. After 16th play minutes Konstanty Janiczek shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Peter-Stefan Schmeichel and just under the crossbar into goal. If Gilbert Cipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Poland's Konstanty Janiczek in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Konstanty Janiczek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Poland's Gilbert Cipinski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Penczkowski, made in the 45th minute of the game. Miguel Sequeira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Marek Czech made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstanty Janiczek in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter-Stefan Schmeichel saved Głodne Ghule from getting behind. In the 55thth minute of the game Konstanty Janiczek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Głodne Ghule's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute Radomil Michnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Poland getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lech Pisarcik hit a great ball. Poland made a substitution. Beniamin Huk replaced Korneliusz Trochowski. After a rather tough play, Poland's Lech Pisarcik got a free kick in the 59th minute. Głodne Ghule's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Głodne Ghule from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Głodne Ghule got a freekick which was hit by 강 비. A collision led to Głodne Ghule getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 강 비 hit a great ball. Gilbert Cipinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter-Stefan Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes Głodne Ghule got a freekick which was hit by Fridtjof Ferstad.
