Konstanty Janiczek took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter-Stefan Schmeichel. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ulryk Miodek made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Głodne Ghule's Wojciech Pasterski. After having played for 30 minutes, Gilbert Cipinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Cipinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstanty Janiczek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Janiczek in the 35th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marek Czech made a kick off. Poland's attentive Gilbert Cipinski managed to snatch the ball when Roch Marud made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Gilbert Cipinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel made a huge save. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Głodne Ghule's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lech Pisarcik was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gilbert Cipinski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Głodne Ghule's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel did a great save. A collision led to Głodne Ghule getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Wojciech Pasterski hit a great ball. Głodne Ghule made a substitution. Hasan Hüseyin Afşar replaced Yu Zhen Guo. Grzegorz Gdaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel made a huge save. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilbert Cipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter-Stefan Schmeichel saved Głodne Ghule from getting behind. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 96th minute of play.
