The audience was convinced that Juan-Ramón Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Pesquera was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The Berserkers FC Ψ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Dragón F.C were winning 0-2.

Dario Betzanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ramiro Gabrio made a huge save. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hilario Pesquera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Melchor Garoa replaced Olliver Van Meirhaeghe. Berserkers FC Ψ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Dario Betzanos scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro Gabrio, making the score, 0-3. Golden Dragón F.C's Tadeo Olmedilla was substituted for Dario Betzanos. In the 74th minute of the match Berserkers FC Ψ got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melchor Garoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hilario Pesquera came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli. But to his dismay, Juan Ignacio Circelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 88 minutes into the game, Tadeo Olmedilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Gabrio. Tadeo Olmedilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Dragón F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
