The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Iruinea during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luis María Guadalupe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis María Guadalupe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Tiniebra made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Tiniebra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Iratzeder was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Orlando Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Tiniebra in the 55th minute of play. Vinicio Vigil's late challenge caught a Santa Fe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 75th play minutes Carmelo Tiniebra shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Orlando Iratzeder and just under the crossbar into goal. Guido Perez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafino Pancho firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 82 minutes Santa Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Delmiro Lleir who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Delmiro Lleir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafino Pancho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Steve Rogers hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's Delmiro Lleir tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Rogers in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Iratzeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fernando Pratto came free, but Orlando Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Serafino Pancho made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Romulo Lalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Iratzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0.
