Vitor Roque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.F PESTUZOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Asmund Nyvold was slow to take the kick. During this time Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the game, Ulysses Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 42nd minute, Barry Baxter made a precise shot to the right of Victor Negara. C.F PESTUZOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.F PESTUZOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! After the first half Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikolaj Siwy was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Alsua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Victor Negara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Santiago in the 55th minute of the match. Vitor Roque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.F PESTUZOS made a substitution. Matias Benedicto replaced Mikolaj Siwy. Arnaldo Alsua in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Negara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Alsua in the 61st minute of play forced C.F PESTUZOS's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after C.F PESTUZOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asmund Nyvold took the corner. 67 minutes into the match, C.F PESTUZOS's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Roque came free, but Victor Negara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a corner. C.F PESTUZOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Asmund Nyvold ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Asmund Nyvold to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Negara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Asmund Nyvold went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.F PESTUZOS's goalie and right to Duda Vergílio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.F PESTUZOS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Alsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Arnaldo Alsua in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.F PESTUZOS's goalie prevented a goal. Gianluigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martín Santiago went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Mariusz Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
