Saverio Petrigai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Marcelino Flor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that José Sand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Arendarski was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 8th minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 8th minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Hai Le in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Hai Le came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Hai Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Hai Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Wen Hai Le got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's José Sand in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, José Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Rainer Marthaler came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the CA Juventud Unida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rainer Marthaler couldn't finish the play. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Sand in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rainer Marthaler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelino Flor. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Marcelino Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Banana in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian was substituted for José Sand. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rainer Marthaler to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Yu Jian Tian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Arendarski was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. CA Juventud Unida's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 56th minute of play. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after CA Juventud Unida's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Galtero took the corner. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Lautaro Acosta was substituted for Teofilo Galtero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jian Tian in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Arendarski saved CA Juventud Unida from getting behind. CA Juventud Unida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Yu Jian Tian scored to the left of an out of position Emil Arendarski, making the score, 2-2. Marcelino Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Marthaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jesús Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcelino Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Emil Arendarski managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Yu Jian Tian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Arendarski. That made the score 2-3 in the 91 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Yu Jian Tian lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Emil Arendarski.

The CA Juventud Unida supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's performance. The match ended with a win for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ.
