Jo Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wit Winnicki in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Maerschalcx saved SK Dreigoten from getting behind. Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Freire in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Pégasus F. C.'s Dráusio Pitta got control of the ball when Sam Roelants tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Libesoons came free, but Dráusio Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Zé Carlos Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Winnicki in the 29th minute of play. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho das Neves's late challenge caught a SK Dreigoten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fransesco Jenken in the 67th minute of play. SK Dreigoten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustaaf Libesoons in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on SK Dreigoten's corner Gustaaf Libesoons fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dráusio Pitta quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Roelants in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Pitta saved Pégasus F. C. from getting behind. Gustaaf Libesoons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
