Teodoro Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Šeško, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Šeško in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Gaufred prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Abílio Aveiro managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Młoda Warka's Ludomil Pieprz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Šeško in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Gaufred saved Młoda Warka from getting behind. Pedro Granja hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Teodoro Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 22nd minute of play. Jakub Gierasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Benjamin Šeško shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Młoda Warka's Mikolaj Siekierka got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Młoda Warka's goalkeeper Teodoro Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Oliverios Barja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Młoda Warka's Witalis Cichowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abílio Aveiro. That made the score 1-1 after 44 minutes of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Enzo Millot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Młoda Warka's Teodoro Gaufred was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half GD Almargense were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Filipe Valido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Magalhães lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Młoda Warka's goalkeeper Teodoro Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GD Almargense's Vitor Roque was substituted for Moussa N'Diaye. In the 62nd minute GD Almargense were awarded a corner. Filipe Valido went to the cornerflag to take it. Benjamin Šeško was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 64th minute of the match, Vitor Roque got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodoro Gaufred was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abílio Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Pieprz in the 65th minute of play. Abílio Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Siekierka, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Abílio Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomil Pieprz in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Benjamin Šeško managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Almargense's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Šeško was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Młoda Warka's Maciej Krzynowek was substituted for Leszek Kanczuszewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Šeško in the 87th minute of play forced Młoda Warka's goalkeeper Teodoro Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Oliverios Barja charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliverios Barja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliverios Barja hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The GD Almargense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GD Almargense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
