Caco Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elfar Elrond in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamid Hamedović. José Carlos Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Nadal having to interfere. Caco Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Safet Sušić in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Safet Sušić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Caco Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bard Bowman got free with Caco Marques in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafa Nadal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamid Hamedović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Marques having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Elfar Elrond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Miran FC's Caco Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save New Miran FC from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes New Miran FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Safet Sušić who took care of the corner kick. Bard Bowman hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes, Benjamin Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The wind increased when Elfar Elrond made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the New Miran FC defense, Bard Bowman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Marques. The New Miran FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Marques should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Gondor FC™'s Rafa Nadal got control of the ball when Benjamin Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Gondor FC™'s Safet Sušić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Lúcio Leal fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Miran FC's protests and gave Lúcio Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, New Miran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Leal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, New Miran FC's Cláudio Veiga got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Cláudio Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frodo Baggins in the 69th minute of the match. Caco Marques didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gondor FC™'s Bard Bowman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamenko Gudelj in the 75th minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Frodo Baggins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gondor FC™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. New Miran FC's Caco Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bard Bowman in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Bard Bowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frodo Baggins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Gondor FC™ were the better team. Gondor FC™'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
