Raul Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Lara's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of Camarón Bombay booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Testa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Yusuf Ziya Cerit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni was substituted for Jakub Waselenczuk. Edgardo Garikoitz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Raul Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Ritieni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Fred Lara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Pueblo. Fred Lara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Camarón Bombay's Raul Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Tingelholm in the 77th minute of play. Raul Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benoit Ritieni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raul Pueblo came out and tried to block the shot, but Benoit Ritieni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute FC Lugano were awarded a corner. Zhao Le Sen went to the cornerflag to take it. Ermanno Rocchetti tried in the 89th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Raul Pueblo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. After 92 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Gulli. In the 95th minute, Klas Tingelholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
