When Armada's Kylian Henry in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute Ronaldão Jaafari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Michel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Henry in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Sune Bergdal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristi Miheș. Sune Bergdal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Ninão Sapelnikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kylian Henry went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Armada booed when Borussia Dortmund MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Jaafari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund MZB defense, Kylian Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Neuer. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Neuer should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Armada's Anastasios Boukouvalas got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Kylian Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Şiman in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kylian Henry was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, He Wei Feng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund MZB the free kick. He Wei Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Jaafari in the 56th minute of play. Michel Neuer made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Iosif Şiman sent off a good shot on target. If Kylian Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Henry in the 59th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Bergdal came free, but Cristi Miheș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kylian Henry came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kylian Henry couldn't finish the play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Liu Zhi was substituted for He Xiao Ao. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Edinho Alcântara was substituted for Ronaldão Jaafari. He Wei Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Armada made a substitution. Edgar Șeicaru replaced Elder Godoi. He Wei Feng hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Ye Feng Feng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristi Miheș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristi Miheș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Michel Neuer got control of the ball when Iosif Şiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Boukouvalas in the 78th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Wictor Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Henry came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by He Wei Feng in the 86th minute. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Bergdal in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Buceceanu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iosif Şiman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michel Neuer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Armada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
