After having played for 8 minutes, Nicanor Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Informaniaticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Gomesano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Camarón Bombay's zone, Gabriel Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Pueblo came out of the goal and Gabriel Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Gomesano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Pueblo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Acosta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute Beto Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Peruanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Informaniaticos booed when Camarón Bombay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Informaniaticos's Alfonso Peruanton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Informaniaticos from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Camarón Bombay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
