Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Romão Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Patrick Viera replaced Jiang Sha. Roneros F.C.'s Süruri Erbaş was substituted for Ortiz Apellaniz. 70 minutes into the game, Benedicto Naelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Ceberiche. Benedicto Naelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roneros F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Jestrimski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Argentina defense, Patrick Viera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lev Yashin. The Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lev Yashin should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Argentina had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
