The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulysses Reyes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Carlo Dempsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brannik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Antonio HotSPURS the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Terrell Daniel to make the kick off. Ulysses Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Holcomb in the 52nd minute of the match. Caleb Roberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bambas having to interfere. Nicky Patten was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of San Antonio HotSPURS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Antonio HotSPURS. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Brannik. Raphael Barnhart stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ulysses Reyes. 1-1. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Caleb Roberts ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Bambas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caleb Roberts in the 90th minute of the match. Robert Bambas was a little too slow when Caleb Roberts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-4. The Brannik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Antonio HotSPURS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
