Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raymundo Kirkland took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elias Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Kirkland in the 8th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Ferguson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jarrett Rosenberg made a huge save. After 18 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Lincoln Rosales. Brian Mendoza hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Lin got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Raymundo Kirkland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Knights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymundo Kirkland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarrett Rosenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Grant McKay got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Raymundo Kirkland came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Black Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Kirkland couldn't finish the play. Jarrett Rosenberg was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Elias Ferguson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Ferguson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Maia in the 31st minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jarrett Rosenberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Elias Ferguson got a free kick in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Fontenot made a kick off. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 52nd minute of the match. Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Fontenot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Norbert Mathews shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Emanuel Novak got a free kick in the 59th minute. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymundo Kirkland in the 63rd minute of play. Black Knights FC's Barry Drummond got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Federico Maia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 71st playminute. In the 74th minute Raymundo Kirkland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Flynn's late challenge caught a Black Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Flynn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Harvey Flynn hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Dan Riggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trenton Call having to interfere. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Cao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Trenton Call made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Nicky Cavazos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Knights FC the free kick. After 93 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Cavazos. After 94 played minutes, Black Knights FC's Norbert Mathews shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Knights FC reached it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
