An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Gamble in the 9th minute of play forced Brannik's goalkeeper Robert Bambas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Sebastian Langston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Domenico Hooper sped through Creekers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Hooper in the 18th minute of play. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Carlo Dempsey sent off a good shot on target. Robert Bambas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Laird, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tommie Kirkpatrick was a little too slow when Domenico Hooper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 47 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Marquis Carlton. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenico Hooper to make the kick off. Emerson Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Hooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Domenico Hooper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brannik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Hooper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Sonny Hester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Dante Wynn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creekers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brannik the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, Ari Laird had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Bambas. Brannik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ari Laird was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Creekers getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marquis Carlton hit a great ball. Raphael Barnhart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommie Kirkpatrick. Creekers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Brannik's goalkeeper Robert Bambas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ari Laird. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Langston during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Sebastian Langston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Creekers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Higgins in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Brannik's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Gamble came free, but Robert Bambas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Brannik's Domenico Hooper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 93rd minute Domenico Hooper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Hester went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brannik had won after a very even match.
