The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charlie Bucket made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 3rd minute of play. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Amos in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Lionel Mandrake got a free kick in the 5th minute. Eddy Amos, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgardo Courtney kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lane Martinez in the 8th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 10th minute of the match. Charlie Bucket didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Nichols went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Henry Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Nichols in the 15th minute of the match. Brooklyn SC's Henry Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Edgardo Courtney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ForestFire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Amos came free, but Charlie Bucket reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave ForestFire a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eddy Amos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brooklyn SC's Charlie Bucket. 0-3. When ForestFire's Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brooklyn SC's goalie prevented a goal. Charlie Bucket made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Nichols in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Sugar made a kick off. Charlie Bucket made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Edgardo Courtney sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Brooklyn SC defense, Lane Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlie Bucket. The Brooklyn SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlie Bucket should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Lionel Mandrake got a free kick in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey Yoshioka. Charlie Bucket came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Lane Martinez. But to his dismay, Lane Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lane Martinez got free with Charlie Bucket in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brooklyn SC's Charlie Bucket played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Martinez in the 76th minute of play. Jeffrey Yoshioka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Charlie Bucket made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Owens to maneuver through the defense. When Brooklyn SC's Henry Sugar in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ForestFire's goalie prevented a goal. Reed Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Nichols in the 89th minute of the match. Lionel Mandrake kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Duncan Nichols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Bucket saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Henry Sugar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklyn SC and the ForestFire players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Sugar. Charlie Bucket made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 95th minute. If Jeffrey Yoshioka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ForestFire's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
