El Canalla de Chicago's Martin Tuttle managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leroy Conn in the 94 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Roark in the 95th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded El Canalla de Chicago left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Creekers.
