Simon Stover hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Caleb Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caleb Roberts in the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Caleb Roberts notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caleb Roberts's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Simon Stover took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicky Cavazos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caleb Roberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Caleb Roberts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal and Caleb Roberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Fontenot kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caleb Roberts in the 45th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Fontenot came free, but Sanford Patterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Jasper Tidwell replaced Seth Kirkpatrick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Fontenot was the one to do the kick off. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Roberts in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Caleb Roberts tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Caleb Roberts made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Robert McCord hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Grant McKay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sanford Patterson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roscoe Littlejohn hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sanford Patterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Robert McCord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Berry Negron replaced Simon Stover. In the 76th match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wade Hearn to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Wade Hearn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caleb Roberts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Caleb Roberts lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Jarrett Rosenberg. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Berry Negron tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded San Antonio HotSPURS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cosmos Soccer Club.
