The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Evgeniy Stukalin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fabrizio Di Battista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Stukalin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Evgeniy Stukalin put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrizio Di Battista. Lipetsk's Evgeniy Stukalin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 26th play minute Vitaliy Filimonov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabrizio Di Battista. 5-0. Stepan Sidorov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Cassone in the 30th minute of play. Fabrizio Di Battista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Stukalin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Ettore Panza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stepan Sidorov was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Fabrizio Di Battista came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipetsk's Andrey Novosadov. But to his dismay, Andrey Novosadov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 42nd match minute, Lipetsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Prusakov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Torre A Mare booed when Lipetsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Prusakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stepan Sidorov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Cassone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evgeniy Stukalin was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lipetsk's Andrey Novosadov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Di Battista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Anthony Cassone came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Torre A Mare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Cassone couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Lipetsk booed when Torre A Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Di Dio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Di Battista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Novosadov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The supporters of Torre A Mare booed when Lipetsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Ostrovskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stepan Sidorov made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ettore Panza sent off a good shot on target. Lipetsk's Andrey Novosadov got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrizio Di Battista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Novosadov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
