Farsta FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuyen Quang the free kick. Bengt-Rune Hedlund got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Patrick Tunander. 21 minutes into the match, Bror Vinström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Huynh Duc. Tuyen Quang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bror Vinström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Farsta FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Vinström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kåre Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Huynh Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Farsta FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farsta FF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tuyen Quang to leave the ground with a draw.
