Ngô Tuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Vitko Shalamanov made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ngô Tuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Ngô Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Shalamanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stoyo Kostakev fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Institute's protests and gave Stoyo Kostakev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, The Institute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoyo Kostakev to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, The Institute failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
