If Angelo Ferreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was a little too slow when Alberigo Morandin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Fabrizio Di Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ngô Tuan in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Tuyen Quang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hieu to maneuver through the defense. If Anthony Cassone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Ettore Panza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Huynh Duc. Tuyen Quang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Panza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Torre A Mare's Anthony Cassone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Huynh Duc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tuyen Quang from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony Cassone was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Alberigo Morandin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Torre A Mare's Fulvio Pomponio got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Panza in the 58th minute of play forced Tuyen Quang's goalkeeper Nguyễn Huynh Duc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ngô Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Di Battista having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Torre A Mare's Anthony Cassone made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Huynh Duc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Chiarelli in the 68th minute of play. The Torre A Mare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Nguyễn Huynh Duc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Morandin in the 81st minute of play. Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Huynh Duc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Cassone in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ettore Panza in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Huynh Duc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ferreri, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Cassone in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Huynh Duc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the game, Torre A Mare's Angelo Ferreri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nguyễn Huynh Duc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. There was no doubt that Torre A Mare were the better team. Torre A Mare's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
