In the 6th minute, Anthony Cassone made a precise shot to the right of Vitko Shalamanov. The Institute's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fabrizio Di Battista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stoimen Glavchev in the 9th minute. Vitko Shalamanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Cassone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Anthony Cassone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Shalamanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stoimen Glavchev took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrizio Di Battista. Fabrizio Di Battista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vitko Shalamanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Panza in the 20th minute of play. Stoimen Glavchev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Fabrizio Di Battista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anthony Cassone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitko Shalamanov having to interfere. After 27 played minutes The Institute got a freekick which was hit by Valcho Kasavetov. 28 minutes into the match, Anthony Cassone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitko Shalamanov. The Institute's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Cassone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stoimen Glavchevs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Fabrizio Di Battista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Ferreri during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Torre A Mare getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Angelo Ferreri hit a great ball. Angelo Ferreri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of The Institute booed when Torre A Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Morandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 53rd minute, Angelo Ferreri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of The Institute booed when Torre A Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Ferreri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Ferreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitko Shalamanov having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Stoimen Glavchev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Di Battista was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Ferreri couldn't finish the play. Fabrizio Di Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoimen Glavchev in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Torre A Mare left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Institute.
