After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Laurgain Ruiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Neuer came out of the goal and Laurgain Ruiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Castro in the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Evaristo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Xiao Ao in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
