Seb Hedges started the match with the kick off. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seb Hedges in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s Seb Hedges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute DENVER™ were awarded a corner. Mugur Nițisor went to the cornerflag to take it. Mugur Nițisor made a great header on DENVER™'s corner, it was just that New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seb Hedges in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match DENVER™ got a corner. New England Minas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Nițisor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Seb Hedges heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Glen Conklin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök skillfully saved the ball. Tony Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Cumhur Gök having to make a save. Mustafa Cumhur Gök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Pacheco in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pacheco in the 50th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Gök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seb Hedges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seb Hedges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Van de Put to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Cumhur Gök made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tio Lio sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Seb Hedges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jeremy Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. DENVER™ made a substitution. Beto Maranhense replaced Mugur Nițisor. DENVER™'s Antonio Cugini was substituted for Diego Armando Messi. In the 76th minute, Beto Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Cumhur Gök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tio Lio took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Cumhur Gök. Mustafa Cumhur Gök dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Remus Gavruță hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New England Minas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing DENVER™ to leave the ground with a draw.
