MAZER SAF's Jorginho Mello managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amílton Loyola in the 5 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Dale Dolar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Negri was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Luisinho Uribe took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Negri. Ismael Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Vieira in the 15th minute of play. Ismael Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clóvis Vieira went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Amílton Loyola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 28th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Castro in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Ugutz saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Evaristo Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Uribe in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Claudinho Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The MAZER SAF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barcellos Mineiro FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurgain Ruiz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thomas Hellbom hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Dale Dolar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Castro in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Hellbom hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Jardel Junior replaced Evaristo Castro. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Marcos Fantini was substituted for Wambasther Robben. MAZER SAF's Murillo Lima was substituted for Kang Wei Lin. Thomas Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Amílton Loyola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Negri. MAZER SAF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dale Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ismael Negri made a huge save. In the 75thth minute of the game Dale Dolar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner. Amílton Loyola went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MAZER SAF's goalie and right to Dale Dolar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MAZER SAF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Junior came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Dolar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radul Kokalov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ismael Negri made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Ismael Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Clóvis Vieira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mário Mattos, made in the 93rd minute of the game.
