Nico Van Meerbek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Barmoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Robben Kints put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Adamčík. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Powderham in the 15th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Ivan Adamčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Tibor Barmoš got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ivan Adamčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Powderham in the 17th minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brakkies New Bastards the free kick. Brakkies New Bastards's Tomm Van Clijnenbreugel was substituted for Jan-Joost Van Linthout. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Nico Van Meerbek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Powderham in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Adamčík saved AFK Petržalka from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Brakkies New Bastards's Kirk Powderham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Adamčík made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Brakkies New Bastards booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Matis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirk Powderham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The wind increased when Klement Dupal made the kick off in the second half. János Újfalussy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matej Čulen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Kirk Powderham made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Adamčík. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Újfalussy in the 58th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Ivan Adamčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ivan Adamčík successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Miroslav Matis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Újfalussy in the 76th minute of play. János Újfalussy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robben Kints could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ivan Adamčík made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Daniel Reijniers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Adamčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Adamčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Újfalussy in the 84th minute of play. Daniel Reijniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Adamčík having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Robben Kints came free, but Ivan Adamčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Reijniers came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Brakkies New Bastards fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Reijniers couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Trenčan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík got control of the ball when Kirk Powderham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Adamčík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kirk Powderham in the 94th minute. Brakkies New Bastards played a much better game than AFK Petržalka and deserved their victory. The AFK Petržalka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
