Gábor Joó might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Adamčík. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gábor Joó ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Joó came free, but Ivan Adamčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Gábor Joó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Valencia CF Mindszent's corner Christos Xenidis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Adamčík quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute, Tibor Kavecký hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Adamčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elek Bognár in the 16th minute of the match. Tibor Kavecký kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gábor Joó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibor Barmoš in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Higuita saved Valencia CF Mindszent from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Gábor Joó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ivan Adamčík was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Gábor Joó made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Adamčík was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Joó came free, but Ivan Adamčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gábor Joó made a kick off. Gábor Joó received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Adamčík came out and tried to block the shot, but Gábor Joó slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 51st minute. AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. Gábor Joó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gábor Joó who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Adamčík when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roberto Carlo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Adamčík firmly grabbed it by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Ivan Adamčík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Joó. 65 minutes into the game, Elek Bognár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. After 82 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Adamčík was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konstantin Fitos had several of the AFK Petržalka's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Ivan Adamčík as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Konstantin Fitos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Konstantin Fitos took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Ivan Adamčík to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Valencia CF Mindszent left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFK Petržalka.
