Osvald Kadajass short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Ivan Adamčík to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yaman Alp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Adamčík when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Bohdan Jedlík. When Cin-Cin Marger la birra's Osvald Kadajas in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvald Kadajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miromir Bilicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Loyola came free, but Ivan Adamčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFK Petržalka made a substitution. Klement Dupal replaced Tibor Barmoš. In the 63rd minute, Tibor Barmoš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Adamčík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Kadajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Adamčík came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cin-Cin Marger la birra's Yaman Alp. But to his dismay, Yaman Alp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Osvald Kadajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Yaman Alp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvald Kadajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Yaman Alp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Adamčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cin-Cin Marger la birra booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Kaščák didn't get a good kick on the ball.
