Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Zestafoni's goalkeeper Gav Benbow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Karl-Michael Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th match minute, U21 Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Pasqualini to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Frodyma came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoly Pilievi in the 14th minute of play. Gav Benbow made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Karl-Michael Melander sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Football Club Zestafoni's goalkeeper Gav Benbow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Melander. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Melander in the 19th minute of play forced Football Club Zestafoni's goalkeeper Gav Benbow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes Football Club Zestafoni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Steve Hyuga who took care of the corner kick. The audience cheered when Steve Hyuga's long shot passed Gav Benbow's right side. It was 2-0, 21 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, U21 Argentina's Rayan MacQueen got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Frodyma in the 36th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoly Pilievi in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Football Club Zestafoni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steve Hyuga was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Argentina's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patryk Frodyma in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Maiorga saved U21 Argentina from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Melander to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Zestafoni's zone, Rayan MacQueen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gav Benbow came out of the goal and Rayan MacQueen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Football Club Zestafoni getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Giorgi Gogava hit a great ball. U21 Argentina made a substitution. Alejo Loren replaced Steve Hyuga. U21 Argentina's Celestino Obano was substituted for Karl-Michael Melander. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Celestino Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Obano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gav Benbow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Zestafoni's zone, Celestino Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gav Benbow came out of the goal and Celestino Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Örtendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Albino Maiorga made a huge save. In the 75th minute Anatoly Pilievi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Rioja hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Football Club Zestafoni got a freekick which was hit by Giorgi Gogava. Gav Benbow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Obano in the 88th minute of the match. Giorgi Gogava hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Football Club Zestafoni's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Obano came free, but Gav Benbow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. U21 Argentina were victorious despite being under pressure from Football Club Zestafoni for much of the match.
