When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Siro Benvido took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Brant Cleveland to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes in the game Val Burton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sal Boyles. After some careless play in the Hazard defense, Siro Benvido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brant Cleveland. The Hazard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brant Cleveland should have stopped the shot. Brant Cleveland was a little too slow when Siro Benvido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 31st minute, Siro Benvido made a precise shot to the right of Brant Cleveland. Hazard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The Sotelo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Sotelo AFC's Maurinho Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Siro Benvido received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brant Cleveland came out and tried to block the shot, but Siro Benvido slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. Brant Cleveland didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jared Larson was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Sotelo AFC's Siro Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brant Cleveland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 56 minutes of play, Sotelo AFC's Maurinho Senna made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brant Cleveland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Senna in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brant Cleveland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue was substituted for Siro Benvido. Cui Liang Yue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brant Cleveland having to make a save. If Håkan Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sal Boyles charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sal Boyles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Hazard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sal Boyles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brant Cleveland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cui Liang Yue in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Cui Liang Yue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Brant Cleveland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Hazard defense, Cui Liang Yue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brant Cleveland. The Hazard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brant Cleveland should have stopped the shot.
