Ksawery Gongola started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Angelo Renzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leon Craandijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John-Paul Locatelli kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn August in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Harvey Davies successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn August in the 30th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Gongola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FFC Merainies 03's Pepijn Hummel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harvey Davies. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. In the 47th minute Martijn August shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwan Valentijn was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 60th minute of the match. FFC Merainies 03's Gertjan Engbers was substituted for Jörgen Kjellqvist. In the 69th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Pepijn Hummel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harvey Davies was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Valentijn got free with Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Gongola in the 86th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Valentijn got free with Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Leon Craandijk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that FFC Merainies 03 were the better team. FFC Merainies 03's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
