In the 6th match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Carberry to maneuver through the defense. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 9th minute of play. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 10th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Josef Roscams got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid De Keuster in the 75th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans sped through Silver Squad AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Everett Hawks made a substitution. Andy Van Aghten replaced Philip Goorts.
