Jason Asselberghs hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Tor-Egil Gjertsen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Who Ate All Depay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor-Egil Gjertsen couldn't finish the play. Jason Asselberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falco Pruischer having to interfere. A collision led to Who Ate All Depay getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bon Scott hit a great ball. Wen Bo Yang got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Volponi. Stanny Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Volponi in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Tor-Egil Gjertsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanny Van Gorp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Volponi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanny Van Gorp came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Volponi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Wen Bo Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Young Ostend United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor-Egil Gjertsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Who Ate All Depay's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Who Ate All Depay booed when Young Ostend United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Roukeloes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alex Volponi came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Who Ate All Depay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Volponi couldn't finish the play. Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Asselberghs in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Bon Scott fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luuk de Boer might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanny Van Gorp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luuk de Boer ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bon Scott to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Young Ostend United's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Egil Gjertsen came free, but Stanny Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Bon Scott made a precise shot to the right of Stanny Van Gorp. Young Ostend United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Wen Bo Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Yorrick Kiewiet replaced Pieter Koole. Falco Pruischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Asselberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Young Ostend United's Manuel Roukeloes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremie Frimpong in the 68 minute of the game. In the 69th match minute, Who Ate All Depay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Ado to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, one of Who Ate All Depay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Who Ate All Depay. Falco Pruischer had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Roukeloes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wen Bo Yang scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanny Van Gorp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanny Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bon Scott, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Young Ostend United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Wans to maneuver through the defense. Alain Wans kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Tor-Egil Gjertsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Volponi in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanny Van Gorp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Licerio made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roel Ravenbergen immediately put the ball in play. In the 96th minute Bon Scott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Who Ate All Depay had played much better football throughout.
