Taco Uebels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels got control of the ball when Robertinho Carabajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Taco Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Urtsua Macías hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daevy Blaine made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tang Di Nan. Joseph Smits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Taco Uebels made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt-Jürgen Kurri came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Benefica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Soares in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Fc Benefica's Eduard Gryshko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 32nd minute of play. Fabrizio Di Muzio got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Urtsua Macías. After 38 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Daevy Blaine. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Humberto Jonge got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Soares to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Robertinho Carabajal made a precise shot to the right of Taco Uebels. Fc Benefica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Robertinho Carabajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, AFC Koolkerke's Christer Sunde got a free kick in the 54th minute. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 61st minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Taco Uebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Smits came free, but Taco Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Benefica's Hugo Andriessen was substituted for Humberto Jonge. Taco Uebels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsua Macías in the 75th minute of the match. Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taco Uebels. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85thth minute of the game Robertinho Carabajal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Soaress short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Ulises Steven to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute, Joseph Smits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Koolkerke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC Koolkerke fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fc Benefica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
